12 medium/large prawns 2 tsp of cornflour 1 tbsp of oil 1 globs of butter (haha about 2 tsp) … 1/3 tin of evaporated milk 2 sprigs of curry leaves 2 cloves of garlic (chopped)…I’ll just do my version of Prawns cooked in butter and milk. … The ingredients and method is very simple and it might not be really the full blown recipe for Butter Prawns that you would find elsewhere….

Cajun Bangkok REVISITED
When Karen said she wanted Thai for lunch after errand running I suggested Cajun Bangkok. “Are you sure? I thought you -”. “Toasted coconut platter, Karen. We have to go try it.” “Do they even have Thai food?” “Yeeesssss, c’mon. Trust me.” Dear reader, you may have seen my “Heaven and Hell” piece about having smelly fish after a couple awesome starters. Im fully aware of how odd it is to dislike an entire industry of food made up of other foods that I generally have no problem with, but there you go. I do not like sandwiches. Occasionally when we are out, people will suggest we get something to eat and inevitably offer up Some Sandwich Joint as a possible snackery at which point I have to flail about helplessly and attempt to explain why this would be a terrible, life-altering,

An unusual pizza for lunch
Yesterday was one of those days, when I was famished for lunch and the only thing ready was the cauliflower-potato curry made in the morning. Besides this, there was some thin crust pizza base languishing in the fridge since last Saturday, and there was the hummus that I had made a couple of days ago. I also had some ready pizza sauce( Pizza Mazza - Maggi) which I always happen to keep on hand
