Indian Lentil Soup

I love Indian flavours and lentils so I was excited to find this soup! It’s really tasty! This is a fairy quick meal so it’s good for a weeknight dinner when paired with a salad or some brown rice. Ingredients: 1/3-2/3 cup green lentils 1/3 onion, chopped 1/4 tsp. ground cumin 1/12 tsp. turmeric 1/6 tsp. coriander 1/6 tsp. curry powder 1 small clove of garlic, minced 1/8 cup carrot, diced 1/12 cup oatmeal 1/3 tsp. tomato pa

Well Cabbage as a Pakoda?

Last night I used Technorati to find more information on ‘beans curry’ so I could post it into ‘Curry paste’. And this is one of the many results I found:

Cabbage is called “Goes” or “Mutta Goes” in Tamil. I remember as a kid, we used to make fun of this vegetable, saying what goes what comes! And I actually don’t remember what its called in Telugu. Its so funny really, many things I know in only Telugu and most things in Tamil. But if asked vice versa, you may fine me very perplexed! That’s the reason why I started a series called Know your Ingredient!. But as few things wading off with time, if its not pursued with vengeances, this is one of tho

CARDED.

Theres a bomb Peruvian restaurant on Melrose called Marios. The retarded parking lot will make you want to swallow glass, and the Health and Sanitation Department gave it a solid B (p.s. You can have a rat in the kitchen and still get an A, so), but that just builds up to the handsome reward decadently smothered in green spicy sauce. Start off with a fried calamari and follow it up with a #20 chicken/noodle dish, and youre good to go.. rrright to bed. Quite possibly the worst thing you coul
