The Dry Run

The “Pinging” sound of metal bats was odd. Only a few thousand were in attendance. And the final score really wasn’t what this afternoon was all about. Today–Our Washington Nationals opened New Nationals Park with a special match up. George Washington University played St. Josephs in the first baseball game ever played on South Capitol Street. The Dry Run set up to test whether the new ballpark is ready for Prime Time on Opening Night–March 30th. The African Queen and I were not going to

TOO TIRED TO PROTEST…..

I’ve a passion for Cooking and keep looking for good articles. Today, I checked if I could find more info by entering ‘lamb curry recipe’ in Google and found this:

Just got home after day teaching ….. far too shattered to blog about anything significant. No doubt my radical fervour will recover on Wednesday when I’m working at home. There’s also a young people’s meeting on Wednesday night 6.30pm at Trades Club to discuss our Fair Wage campaign. One or two old gits like me will be there to observe…….. and Thursday night is truly revolutionary comrades as we are swapping our usual Labour Party curry night and quiz for a Scouse Night devoted to the Cap

Because I didn’t want to write a too short blog entry, I checked some search engines on madras curry and found this:

Singapore Mei Fun with Shrimp

Before Shane and I got engaged and I moved Upstate, I used to eat Chinese take-out at least twice a month, sometimes more. It was cheap, it was flavorful, it was everywhere. But Shane isn’t a big fan of Chinese food, and I haven’t found any Chinese restaurants I really like, so now I eat Chinese food maybe three or four times a year. So I was thrilled to walk into Wegmans a few weeks ago and see them pushing their recipe for Singapore Noodles with Shrimp. Make no mistake — this is definatel

Natalie Portman in “Spicy” New Movie

Today I used Technorati to find more information on ‘madras curry’ so I could post it into ‘Beef curry’. And this is one of the many results:

New Yorkers visiting a certain patch of real estate in the East 20s known affectionately as Curry Hill know the secrets of kosher vegetarian Indian food - in fact, you can hardly throw a dosa without hitting Madras Mahal, Chennai Garden, or another Indian restaurant serving hecshered, meat-free fare. Now, Israeli-born, vegetarian actress Natalie Portman will star in Mira Nairs new movie, Kosher Vegetarian - exploring the interfaith romance between a Gujarati guy (actor, Ifran Khan) and Jewi
