Today I used Google to find more info on ‘madras curry’.. And this is one of the first results:

The only difference is the colour, mine looks lighter where as Madras is supposed to be reddish in colour, few drops of red food colouring sorts that out though, t astes the damn same. You need from the shop. … Right . . . 1st you need to make the Gravy which is the base of the curry, you can eat this on it’s own if you like. . . . Nice over rice and chips…. Right. This is a recipe for a Madras Curry as I cook it and it tastes no different to how you get it from the Indian Takeaways in Manchester….
